Timothy Schab Named MCC Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Following a national executive search, Michigan Catholic Conference (MCC) has hired as its Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer Timothy L. Schab, CPA, CGMA. Schab, who has served MCC as its Controller since 1994, succeeds Joseph Mahoney, who retired from the Conference in October after 30 years of service to the organization.
A native of the Grand Rapids area, Schab graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He carries both a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant designation, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Michigan Catholic Conference in 1994, Schab worked for BDO Seidman as an Audit Manager and Senior Auditor.
