Publicom Hires New Account/ Media Planner
Publicom, Inc., a full-service marketing communications firm, welcomes Taryn Proctor as account/media planner. Her responsibilities include account coordination, project management and media planning and buying.
“Taryn’s cross-functional media knowledge and experience managing high-profile, global accounts will be an asset to our media and account teams,” said Lisa O’Connor, Publicom president. “She will be able to add value to our clients from day one.”
Most recently, Proctor was associate planner for Posterscope, a worldwide communications firm that specializes in out-of-home (OOH) advertising. Working at its offices in Detroit and Santa Monica, Calif., Proctor oversaw media plans for vehicle launches of the Cadillac CTS, XTS and Escalade and was a member of the team that built and launched the national marketing communications and OOH media strategy for Adidas’ new Boost running shoe and its Originals shoe campaign. She also worked on the accounts of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, OnStar, Red Bull, University of Phoenix, Honda/Acura, Nokia and GoPro.
A graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising, she also studied at Montcalm Community College, Sidney, Mich., and internationally in Wittenberg, Germany, London, England, and Sydney, Australia. The Carson City native calls St. Johns her new home.
