The Lansing Symphony Brings Back Free Young People’s Concerts

The Lansing Symphony is pleased to bring back their Young People’s Concerts, a free educational program that was put on hold last year due to a lack of financial resources. This year the concert titled, “Discovering America’s Musical Roots,” will be Friday, March 1 at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. at Wharton Center’s Cobb Great Hall. The program is geared towards elementary and middle school students; schools that are interested in attending the Young People’s Concerts should contact the Lansing Symphony at (517) 487-5001.

Additional information as well as the registration form can be found at www.lansingsymphony.org. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
