McLaren Greater Lansing awarded Primary Stroke Certification
McLaren Greater Lansing was awarded Primary Stroke Certification from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), an independent accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. McLaren’s stroke program earned this distinction after HFAP conducted an extensive and objective review of the stroke center’s quality and safety standards.
McLaren’s stroke center features a dedicated unit just for stroke patients and a multidisciplinary team of physicians, stroke-certified nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists.
