Capitol National Bank Employees Present the City Rescue Mission of Lansing with a $3,000 Donation
Employees of Capitol National Bank (CNB) presented the City Rescue Mission of Lansing with a $3,000 check in February after a fundraising effort that has been taking place over the last several months.
“The services that the City Rescue Mission of Lansing offers to under-privileged men, women and children are phenomenal and we wanted to give back to an organization that provides so much for our community,” said Heather Stowe-Fox, Loan Assistant and Nonprofit Committee Chair for Capitol National Bank. “It is rewarding to see our employees pull together to so generously contribute to such a remarkable place.”
“Everyone at the City Rescue Mission of Lansing is overwhelmed by the caring employees of Capitol National Bank,” said Mark Criss, Executive Director of the City Rescue Mission of Lansing. “What a difference all of their support and donations have made for Lansing’s less fortunate families.”
Capitol National Bank employees participated in various events throughout the year to raise money for the rescue mission. Some of which were Friday “jeans” promotions, 50-50 raffles and “Mission Madness,” where the staff participated in a mini-basketball tournament.
