Phase I SBIR/STTR Proposal Prep for NIH, East Lansing
This workshop will provide detailed instruction on developing competitive proposals for the National Institutes of Health’s SBIR/STTR program. In addition to up-to-date information on the SBIR/STTR programs, it covers registrations necessary for submission, strategies for targeting your proposal to meet the reviewers’ expectations, how to approach each section of the proposal, commercialization and budget planning, pitfalls to avoid, and more. The presenter will be Andra Johanson, a BBCetc senior principal consultant with over 25 years of experience in leading international collaborative research projects. Prior to joining BBC in 2006, she was responsible for developing a portfolio of agricultural biotechnology projects at Michigan State University’s Institute of International Agriculture and for reporting to federal funding agencies about the program. She has also served as an international consultant on a broad range of issues relating to international agricultural development, biotechnology, biosafety, intellectual property rights and technology transfer. She holds a Ph.D. in plant pathology from Reading University in the United Kingdom. Visit this event on Eventbrite for more information.
