The Holiday Season With the Lansing Symphony Orchestra
According to Rachel Santorelli, director of marketing and communications at the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, the Holiday Pops concert does just that. “It’s a tradition for many professionals and families in mid-Michigan who have an appreciation of the arts and want to enjoy what this community has to offer.”
The Holiday Pops concert, taking place on Sunday, Dec. 22 this year, with tickets running anywhere from $20-$47, includes an afternoon of entertainment and tasteful seasonal classics that people aged five to 95 will recognize and enjoy.
“Every year this festive afternoon at the Wharton Center showcases a guest artist performing classical and popular holiday tunes alongside the symphony. It’s quite a joyous afternoon — Santa even makes an appearance!” explains Santorelli.
The Lansing Symphony Orchestra, an organization that has an 84-year reputation for “enriching lives through music and educational outreach,” also has a profoundly positive effect on the professional environment of mid-Michigan.
“Our audience is made up of professionals working in all fields: law, government, education and arts, to name a few. Not only do they attend our concerts, but prominent businesses in the area support the Lansing Symphony by sponsoring concerts, running advertisements in our annual program book, attending fundraisers and donating on a personal level to our organization,” added Santorelli.
So, be sure to give your co-workers and clients a classic reason to dress up in their holiday best, or something to look forward to in the New Year! Not only will an LSO performance alone be an experience your colleagues won’t forget, but the warm, cultural atmosphere also invites professionals and families alike to network and build relationships within their community circle.
The Lansing Symphony Orchestra is even offering some company discounts this holiday season — groups of 10 or more receive 25 percent off and groups of 50 or more receive 50 percent off!
