Your next business venture starts with CMU’s MET
The Master of Entrepreneurial Transactions at Central Michigan University is for those who live and breathe business.
Whether you want to start your own business or grow the one you currently work at, you can learn skills needed to do both.
This unique program blends classroom learning with real-world experiences. Courses are taught by experts in the field, who will give you practical examples and share what they’ve learned firsthand.
“This is the first offering where I’ve seen a university that has developed a program around the needs of students,” said Louis Foreman, instructor, serial entrepreneur, and product development and innovation expert. “We’re providing the skills to be successful in starting their own business and giving them the skills they need to be successful within a company.”
MET students have access to cutting-edge tools and resources: Practical Law, PitchBook and Shoobx to name a few. Students also are able to take part in the New Venture Competition, where they can compete for more than $100,000 in seed capital, cash prizes and in-kind services. In fact, a member of the 2019 winning team is MET alum Reid Rooney.
The MET offers students the flexibility to take classes where they are, at their own pace and while still maintaining their lifestyles. They are able to choose a full-time, which allows students to finish in one year, or a part-time path.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career or start your own business, the MET from CMU is a must. Do it right the first time, with guidance from industry experts.
