Meridian Township Rebrands for the Future
Newly Updated Brand to Unify Community and Move Township Forward
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI — Meridian Township is pleased to reveal their newly created brand image and enhanced messaging to unify the community while embracing the future.
“We’ve been working with M3 Group on a branding campaign and strategy for over two years. But the process really started with the Meridian Economic Development Cooperation recognizing a need to brand the Township and attract businesses to the community in 2008,” said Meridian Township Communications Director, Deborah Guthrie, “With 2017 being our 175th Anniversary year, we are not only embracing our rich history, we are also celebrating who we are today and look ahead to visioning for the future.”
The Township and branding committee worked alongside M3 Group to establish the new seal, messaging, brand standards and communication strategy. A new seal was created to better reflect the Township while giving it a more modern look and feel. The additional materials were created to unify and streamline Township communication efforts moving forward.
Meridian Township unveiled its new seal at a press conference today at the Meridian Municipal Building. Township Manager, Frank Walsh, Township Supervisor, Ron Styka and Communications Director, Deborah Guthrie laid out the Township’s vision for the future.
“Through this rebrand we will work to engage our welcoming, family friendly neighborhoods and continue to lead and foster growth,” Township Manager, Frank Walsh said, “In Meridian Township we celebrate the vibrant, active lifestyle of our residents, business owners and visitors. Our new brand more accurately reflects what has always been at the core of our community.”
