Jump in with both feet and make your business dreams come true with the support of the Michigan Women’s Foundation’s Entrepreneur YOU.
The Entrepreneur YOU conference is designed to educate women with a passion for owning their own business about the challenges and opportunities inherent to the endeavor – from planning, through launch to growth. The conference provides a broad overview of topics such as marketing, finance, legal and regulatory issues, business, modeling, staffing, sales, leadership and more. In addition to sharpening skills, participants will gain powerful contracts and learn new information to drive successful business results.
This full-day event will take place on Friday, March 10 at Davenport University and feature guest speakers from around the state. The keynote speaker of the event will be Toni Glasscoe’s, whose achievements are numerous. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Lansing Community College, she provides leadership, supervision and coordination of all development activity, community relations and government affairs for the college. In addition, she manages the post-secondary credit options and transition process for incoming students. Prior, Glasscoe made her mark in roles with the City of Lansing and State of Michigan – and that was after 10 successful years leading programs and activities in the classroom! Yet, her most important role is that of wife, mother and grandmother. No stranger to the competing demands and deterrents women face to have it all, Glasscoe will share insight and wisdom learned along the way in a compelling keynote – Keep Your MOJO Going!
