EXIT – Home Partners Bring Growth to REO Town
Lansing’s REO Town has become an area of growth and continues to prosper as it continues to attract new business ventures. One such addition to the area comes from EXIT – Realty Home Partners, the third franchised location of the EXIT – Realty International brand. Co-Owners Jon Lum and Heather Driscoll are optimistic about their new endeavor and are proud to be a welcomed edition to the unique neighborhood.
“The grassroots community in REO Town was very attractive to us,” said, Jon Lum. “The area has many great business leaders and a mix of people that are passionate about the area. We love to see their excitement and enthusiasm.”
Lum and Driscoll have been business partners for the past 2.5 years but their combined experience and former client base made the adaption of a new EXIT location a natural progression. When looking for areas they also considered East Lansing and Old Town.
“REO Town is the most exciting area of the city. There are a lot of good things developing here,” said Lum. “We looked at a lot of areas but with it being so close to the highway it made things more accessible for our clients downtown and closer to MSU.”
The area’s progress and renaissance in the past few years is not the only thing that attracted the realtors. The visual aesthetic was a great attraction as well.
“We love the building that we occupy. It’s located in a very exciting area. Many of the buildings are being remodeled, but we love the historical feel, they have a lot of character,” explained Driscoll.
“That’s something you just can’t find in commercial buildings. Our connection with the community is very important for EXIT. Within the next five years this is going to be such a great place,” added Lum.
While the owners embark on a new chapter, they are optimistic about their future and feel that the EXIT brand was the perfect franchise to adopt. The benefit of working with so many tools and hands-on assistance from their corporate representatives have made the transition and development seamless. The franchisee shares the same vision, which makes it the prefect partnership.
“Authentic is a word that describes EXIT. They’re a company that believes in helping the community and bettering people,” said Driscoll. “Whether you have a budget of 40K or 400K, everyone needs the same level of education, peace of mind, and most importantly somewhere to live.”
EXIT – Home Realty Partners will host a grand opening on Oct. 4 in their new space at 1000 S. Washington Ave Lansing, MI 48910 between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
