Potter Park Zoo Brew Event

One way to kick back and relax after a long day at the office is with a brew and a couple of co-workers. Summer means that meetings post-work activities don’t need to be quite so formal, but sometimes going to the same pub can get tiring. If you’re looking for a change up in your after work hangout, Potter Park Zoo will be hosting three “Zoo Brew” events throughout the summer, offering guests a chance to taste a variety of beers and food while enjoying live music and everything Lansing’s Potter Park Zoo has to offer.

The kick-off to the series is Thursday, June 30 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (last call at 8:30 p.m.). Guests will enjoy beverages from Lansing Brewing
Company available for purchase and a night of music featuring musical guests Shelby and Jake and Well Enough Alone. Those interested can purchase tickets by visiting the Potter Park Zoo’s “What’s Happening” page on their website.

The second Zoo Brew event will be on Thursday, July 28. The third and final summer series event will take place Thursday, August 25. Tickets to these events are also now available for purchase on the zoo’s event page.

Admission is $10 for the entire series (available online only), $7 at the gate per person, $5 per person if purchased online in advance, and food and adult beverages will be available for purchase at all three Zoo Brew events.

Located at 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Potter Park Zoo isn’t just for children’s summer camps this year. Visit potterparkzoo.org for more information.
